The Fall Season
I don’t know about you but I love to wear different types of cosmetics. When the weather starts to get cooler I always have to wear more products. The first product that I have to add to is moisturizer. I have pretty normal skin but my face is always a lot drier in the fall and wintertime. After I have a good amount of moisturizer I always like to make my skin look more even with a light foundation. I wear the same amount of foundation as I do in warmer months but with the extra moisturizer it usually goes further.
Like any girl I always like to change my look. In the summer time I wear very little make up but in the winter months I usually play with a lot more color. I usually will start wearing a darker eye shadow or a darker lipstick just to change things up. Another reason that I change my makeup colors is because I usually change my hair color to a darker color during the fall to winter months. A good thing to remember is if you are changing your hair color you are probably going to have to make changes to your make up colors.
Something different and fun that I have been doing recently is wearing a lot darker make up on my eye lids to create what is know as a smoky eye. I found that the best colors to create this look are navy blue, grey, and black. A good rule of thumb I always try to stick to is if you have darker eye makeup then always wear a softer lip color and vice versa. Following this rule creates a good balance. The trick with make up is less is more and balance is key.
I hope these tips head you in the right direction for the winter months to come ☺
