Color, color and more color

I love to play with color in the wintertime! I recently tried two new colors of eyeliner and eye shadow. The first color was purple. I have green eyes so I thought that I might be able to pull the color purple off. For the most part I can wear purple it is just a matter of the color tone. I think that the color I have amaysist is a little too light. I think I can still get away with the color, but not for an everyday look. I just got a new purple sweater and I think that the combination of both would work pretty well.

The other new color I tried is Navy blue. Now Navy blue is a great color! It is dark enough that I can pull it off and at the same time it makes my eyes pop because of the extra coloring. Navy blue eye shadow is a little trickier but if I am wearing the right outfit I can pull it off as well. Of course the right color of shirt being blue. If you ever try to wear blue eye shadow make sure you do not make the mistake of wearing too dark of lipstick. Always remember the rule if you have dark eye make up then wear light lip stick and vice versa.
