The perfect make up for pictures!

alyssa-and-brian-22Yesterday my fiancé and I decided that we were going to have his brother take our picture to put on our Christmas cards. It snowed for the first time this year and we both thought it would be a perfect background for a picture. I always have to wear my make up a little brighter when taking photo’s otherwise it tends to look like I am not wearing any color. When ever I know that I am going to be in pictures I always wear darker eyeliner and eye shadow to play up my eyes, and a little darker lipstick to make my lips shine. I also put on a little extra foundation to make sure my face looks even and extra looses powder to prevent extra camera shine.

I don’t know what we were thinking but we took our pictures when it was pouring down snow! When looking through the pictures I noticed that this caused me to squint a lot and also my fiancé to squint, which did not help the pictures out in the slightest. I suggest next time you want to take pictures in the snow to wait until after it stops snowing! Other wise the moral of the story is to play up your make up but do not over due it and if you are taking pictures in the snow, wait until it stops snowing to take the pictures!
