The make up at the Golden Globe awards…

When you are an actor or an actress your big night is when you are honored for your work. So when you want to really shine what is the perfect make up look? I see a lot of stars with smokey eye make up and soft lips. Is that the best way to wear your make up for such an event? I took the time to look over all of the stars make up for this event and I have to say the eye make up that stood out the most was Kate Beckinsale and Hayden Panettiere. Both of these ladies nailed it on a smokey eye look and finished it off with a nice soft lip. But what if you tried to go the opposite and pull a soft eye with a darker lipstick. I noticed that Ann Hathaway and Kate Winslet pulled this look of very nicely. They both had a little eye make up on and a beautiful red lipstick that really stood out.

When comparing the two looks there are things that I like about both looks. But when it comes to the Golden Globe Awards who pulled off the best look? In my opinion Christina Applegate had the best make up on. She went for a very classy look with a little bit of a smokey eye and then finished it off with a soft red lipstick. To be able to pull off such a look you have to be very careful not to look to done up, and she did it!
