Smokey Eye Looks for Green Eyes

I am getting married in less then 3 months and so I am starting to plan out my hair and makeup for the day. I have green eyes and I really want them to stand out on my wedding day. I have been doing research online and searching for the best pictures I can find of a smokey eye look for green eyes.

So far I have learned that when you have green eyes there are some colors that are going to work well and some colors you need to stay away from. The colors that are supposed to be the best are purples, greens and golds. The colors that you are supposed to stear clear of are blues and some pinks.
